The Town is actively engaging with the community for both the Compass and Morgan Hill neighborhood parks. The community will continue to have many opportunities to participate in master planning efforts as the projects progress.
There is not currently a definitive timeline for the construction of the future neighborhood park in the Compass or Morgan Hill development. Both park sites are owned and maintained by the Parks & Recreation Department.

The Compass Neighborhood Park site is located in the Compass neighborhood at the intersection of Compass Pkwy. and E. County Line Road.

The Morgan Hill Neighborhood Park site is located in the Morgan Hill neighborhood at the intersection of Montclair Avenue and Merrill Drive.

The Process
Community Engagement
Compass & Morgan Hill Neighborhood Parks has finished this stage
Detailed feedback is solicited from the community. Based on input, an illustrative park design is created and presented to staff and the community.
Preliminary Master Plan Development
Compass & Morgan Hill Neighborhood Parks is currently at this stage
Initial conceptual designs are created based on recommendations from the Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails (PROST) Master Plan; staff input; community conversations: including feedback received at engagement events, survey responses, and ideas submitted on Engage Erie.
Based on community conversations, and staff input, staff begins to review the playground layouts and budget.
Final Master Plan Design
this is an upcoming stage for Compass & Morgan Hill Neighborhood Parks
Final conceptual designs are created based on community conversations, staff input, and budget. Equipment is finalized and the final concept is presented to the public and Board of Trustees.
