Consultation has concluded

**Update on the community build**

We have rescheduled the community build day to July 24th. If you are interested in being a part of Erie's newest playground, sign up here!

Country Fields Park needs an update.

Located at 1801 Tynan Drive in the Country Fields neighborhood, Country Fields Park offers some great views, wide open spaces, a shelter, two ball fields, and walking trails. Fun fact, while Country Fields Park is a neighborhood park, with all the open space and trail corridors, it actually comes out to about 17 acres!

The current playground at Country Fields Park is in need of an update and while we have some pretty cool ideas, we've found that our community members (most notably the younger aged variety) ultimately are the experts in playgrounds.

So, engage with us! We want to hear your ideas about the type of playground equipment YOU want at Country Fields Park. We will have several opportunities for you to provide ideas. And when we say "your" ideas, we mean the kiddos (sorry mom and dad).

So sit down with your in-house experts and ask them, "what do you like at a playground?"

  • *March 25 at 6 p.m. - Come to our virtual design workshop and see our initial designs and share your (mostly your kid's) ideas;
  • Use one of the tools below - fill out the survey or start a discussion (make sure the littles have a voice);
  • Download the "make your own playground" template. Draw your own playground and upload the masterpiece! Submit it in the "Ideas" section below. Maybe you'll win a prize...;
  • *April 8 at 6 p.m. - Tune in to see the final design, ask questions, and get updated on the project
  • Send the project team an email.

*Check the "Important Dates!" tab to the right for meeting info.

Hope to hear (or see!) you as we update Country Fields Park playground.
